While I source throughout the Midwest, not just at thrift stores, the Cincinnati area is full of incredible thrift and charity shops.

Vintage sellers are often understandably protective of their sourcing, but in the spirit of transparency and community, I’ve put together a regularly updated list of local shops where you may find a few treasures. This list is intended as an informational community resource—not a set of favorites, endorsements, or an attempt at gatekeeping access to anything.

A regularly updated list of Thrift Stores

Thriftng Responsibility

Odd Stock Co. encourages responsible thrifting by being mindful of overconsumption and remembering that many thrift stores exist to serve individuals and families in need. Competitive behavior and “haul” culture can create an exclusionary environment, reduce access to affordable essentials, and shift thrifting away from its roots in sustainability, reuse, and mutual care.

Discouraging competitive thrifting isn’t about eliminating resale—it’s about protecting shared resources. Practices such as making space for everyone, avoiding bulk buying of essential items, and respecting the mission of thrift stores help ensure these spaces remain accessible, affordable, and welcoming for everyone.

We’re all neighbors here.
