Discouraging competitive thrifting isn’t about eliminating resale—it’s about protecting shared resources. Practices such as making space for everyone, avoiding bulk buying of essential items, and respecting the mission of thrift stores help ensure these spaces remain accessible, affordable, and welcoming for everyone.
